Professional planting guide for green walls
The planting plan, the key to a successful green wall
The choice of plants is crucial to the success of a green wall. It determines not only the aesthetic appearance, but also the health and durability of the installation. As each species has its own specific requirements in terms of light, humidity and care, careful planning is essential from the outset. TRACER is with you every step of the way, guiding you in the selection of plants suited to your environment and ensuring harmonious integration for a thriving, long-lasting plant wall.
Our plant selection criteria
ADAPTABILITY TO
LOCAL CLIMATE
We select plants adapted to temperature variations, light and humidity levels, and wall exposure to ensure long life.
AESTHETICS
AND DIVERSITY
Our plant palettes are varied in terms of texture, color and form. This visual diversity creates attractive, dynamic plant walls capable of evolving and surprising throughout the year.
MAINTENANCE
AND RESISTANCE
Our choices include low-maintenance species that are resistant to common diseases, ensuring efficient, long-lasting management of your green wall.
We encourage the integration of different types of plants to promote local biodiversity, thus contributing to a more balanced and dynamic ecosystem.
Adaptation to plant wall location
Planting choices for green walls, whether indoor or outdoor, require an approach tailored to their respective environments. At TRACER, we're experts at understanding these nuances and offer customized plant selection services, ensuring the lasting health and beauty of every green wall.

We prefer plants adapted to indirect light and stable temperature conditions. These plants must also be resistant to common indoor diseases such as powdery mildew and mealybug. The aim is to maintain plant health in a controlled, often less sunny environment.

We select hardy species capable of withstanding climatic variations, direct exposure to sunlight, as well as adverse weather conditions such as wind and rain. These plants need to be adapted to a more rigorous environment, and often require greater tolerance to changing weather conditions.
Full support for your planting plan
We offer you comprehensive, personalized support in the choice of planting for your green wall. Our site supervisors, working closely with our maintenance team, ensure careful supervision at every stage, from initial consultation to professional installation and follow-up. This involvement in all phases of the planting process guarantees not only the aesthetic success of your plant wall, but also its longevity and harmonious integration into your space, meeting your high expectations in terms of quality and durability.
Our planting methods
Pre-culture baskets
Before installing your green wall, we grow the plants in Vertiflore baskets, placed in optimal conditions outside our premises and factory. This pre-cultivation method allows the plants to fully develop and flower even before the wall is installed. As a result, when you install your plant wall, it immediately looks lush and attractive.
Planting after installation
Once the green wall structure has been installed, our team of experts plant it directly on site. This technique enables the plants to be adapted to the specific conditions of their final location, ensuring healthy, long-lasting development. Our specialists take care of every detail, from soil preparation to irrigation, to ensure that plants take root properly and thrive in their new habitat.
